Capt. Ketkar, a licensed Master Mariner and founder of Ameritec Maritime, is based in Houston, TX and has over twenty years experience in the shipping industry ashore in addition to sea-going experience serving major shipping companies in worldwide trades. His operations experience includes working for well-known ship-owners and operators and one of the largest steamship agency/stevedore organizations on the US gulf coast. He has been involved with project/heavy lift cargoes and all types of bagged and dry bulk cargoes. He has planned and carried out vessel operations from conceptual and planning stages, through loading and tie-downs and followed up with final delivery. He is well experienced with all operational aspects of marine cargo transportation, ensuring quick vessel turn-around with minimal cargo loss. His clients include major ship owners, operators, charterers and P & I clubs. |
